HERNDON, VA - October 26, 2004 - Windward Consulting Group, the premier operational management consulting and systems engineering firm, today announced the Department of State has selected Windward to provide an assessment of the department's Enterprise Network Management system. Under the contract, Windward will conduct an analysis of the network operations center problem management workflow as well as the fault, configuration and performance management toolsets.
Windward will utilize commercial service provider and government best practices to help the Department of State ensure available, fault tolerant and low-risk operation of the department's total IT environment, enabling employees to communicate rapidly and securely in a variety of conventional and innovative ways, including message text, voice, and video-conferencing.
